More Than Flowers: A Year of Connection and Community
Wow—what a year it’s been! As we celebrate our very first year as the new owners of Ireland’s Florist, we’ve found ourselves feeling incredibly grateful, a little emotional, and most of all—completely in awe of the support we’ve received from this beautiful community.
When we stepped into this journey, we knew we wanted to do more than just sell flowers. We wanted to create something meaningful—a space where people could come for a thoughtful gift, a heartfelt gesture, or just a little beauty to brighten their day. And thanks to you—our wonderful customers, friends, and fellow local businesses—we’ve done just that.
From spontaneous chats at the counter to those quiet early morning pre-orders (you know who you are 💐), every interaction has meant the world to us. You've trusted us with your birthdays, weddings, apologies, anniversaries, and just-because moments. And for that, we are beyond thankful.
But it hasn’t just been about us—it’s been about giving back too.
This past year, we’ve had the honour of donating to local sports clubs and charity nights, and teaming up with some truly incredible local businesses to make our community events and moments extra special. We collaborated with Krash & Co Cafe for the sweetest Valentine’s bundles, partnered with Love It Landscape to celebrate a well-deserving family’s backyard transformation, and featured delicious cupcakes from Best Wishes Cake Shop and beautifully crafted cookies from The Cake Stand Romsey at our event nights. Our friends at Love2Glasses also brought the sparkle—literally—by joining us for our first birthday and providing the celebratory bubbles that helped make the day unforgettable 🥂. Their energy, like ours, is all about spreading joy and making moments feel special. A special shout-out also goes to Chronic Customs, who helped bring our vision to life by designing and installing our stunning shop front signage. Their craftsmanship has truly added that extra bit of flair to our space, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with how it turned out.
A heartfelt thank you also goes out to Laser Blanks and Happy Print Hub, who helped us rebrand from the ground up. From custom acrylic stands to personalised stickers and finishing touches, they’ve been instrumental in helping us create a space that truly reflects who we are.
We also want to express our deepest gratitude to every single business that has partnered with us and chosen to support our local venture. From restaurants and dentists to real estate agents, your belief in us has made all the difference. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for helping us thrive in this wonderful community.
